The Quad Knopf Effect
Residents and community leaders throughout California report more and more frequent sightings of something called The Quad Knopf Effect. Investigations into the phenomenon and its causes are ongoing, but evidence has been linked to Quad Knopf – a diverse group of civil engineers, planners, biologists, land surveyors, construction specialists and landscape architects. Eyewitness accounts of the “effect” are eerily consistent: "things are just working," "traffic seems to flow better," "there is more open space appearing in neighborhoods," "information is easier to access," "places that used to flood in a storm don't anymore."
People can't quite put their finger on what's different. One person said, "It's more like the problems seem to be just, going away." Quad Knopf has taken no direct credit for the "effect," although they have been very good about providing background information so that folks can form their own opinions.
As the “effect” phenomenon continues to spread, the evidence suggests that Quad Knopf has been actively collaborating with various public entities and private companies on a number of activities throughout California.
